BSP Development & Board Bring-Up

A Board Support Package is the layer that makes a generic Android build understand your specific hardware. We take the reference BSP from your silicon vendor, port it onto your schematic, and carry it all the way to a reproducible image that boots reliably and exercises every peripheral on the board.

02 · Below the framework

Linux Kernel & Device Drivers

Most hard device problems live in the kernel. We write and maintain drivers, move boards onto newer kernels, bring vendor trees into GKI compliance, and chase the crashes and regressions that only reproduce on real hardware.

03 · Hardware meets framework

Android HAL Development

The Hardware Abstraction Layer is the contract between your hardware and the Android framework. We implement and modernise HALs so your board exposes real capabilities to apps — and so the vendor interface stays clean enough to survive an OS upgrade.

Android Automotive OS runs as the vehicle's operating system, not as a phone projection. That means vehicle buses, safety-critical startup deadlines, multi-display cockpits and a certification path that differs from mobile. We build and integrate that stack.

05 · Getting to approval

CTS, VTS & GMS Certification

Certification is where device programmes lose months. We set up the suites early, automate them in CI, and work the failure list down methodically — so approval is a scheduled milestone rather than an open-ended risk.

OTA Updates & Platform Security

Shipping the first image is the easy part. Devices in the field need a safe update path and a security posture that survives audit. We build the update infrastructure and harden the platform around it.

Custom Android Platform & Framework

When a product needs behaviour the stock framework does not offer — a kiosk that cannot be exited, a custom system service, a launcher that is the whole product — the work goes into the platform itself, not into an app.

08 · When Android is not the answer
